Ashton Court Christmas Fayre

On Sunday we had out first Christmas Fayre at Ashton Court. It was a great day for weather the rain held off until the end of the day! This was the first outing for the Salted Caramel brownies and what a hit they were. They turned out to be as popular as the Rich Choc brownies. As they were so popular we will be taking them to both markets at the weekend. The first is on Saturday at Thornbury and on Sunday we will be at the Spiegeltent in Bristol. Three weeks today we'll be sitting down ready to tuck into the turkey!

Christmas Fast approching...

It seems that Christmas is just round the corner. Lots of talk about presents and parties and that's just my kids!
This Christmas you can find us at:-
December 2nd - Ashton Court Christmas Fair. This is set in beautiful North Somerset, just over the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
December 8th - Thornbury Christmas Fair. This is a very popular market in South Gloucestershire.
December 9th - LoveFood Festival. Set in the stunning Spiegeltent in Millenium Square Bristol.

I will have plenty of gift boxes and unwrapped brownies which make a good alternative to Christmas Pud. Lovely with a dollop of brandy butter!

All Change...

Time for a change. We now have new packaging and new brownie flavours. At this point I would like to thank all those who help with the market research!! After a couple of months of tweaking we have now added Bitter Orange, Peppermint and Stem Ginger to the range, but if you can't quite make your mind up them Lucky Dip is the one for you.

Lemon extract doing its thing.

Flavours

Well time to get concocting new chocolate brownies recipes. I am very protective over my award winning brownies recipe, so much so that my children will inherit it only when I'm incapacitated! but things are moving on and I'm now beginning to experiment with new flavour combinations. I have been busy rustling up some homemade mint and lemon extract. These should be ready over the next few weeks so friends and family should be prepared ready for the next taster evening!
